This was the first time that Dave and I had ever hung out.  We had a great time exchanging stories over a few drinks before we got down to a bit of recording.   Dave had just started hitting the road again in addition to all his other project responsibilities and had played in Charleston the night before our session.   I believe this is the first recording of Brighter Sun.
